Mr Borovička was a prominent post-war figure in the town of Most in the fields of culture and education.
The exhibition offers a glimpse into the life of the first post-war director of the Most Municipal Museum and Archives. He was active not only in the field of culture but also in the scientific sphere. He devoted himself to collecting invertebrates and was also a highly skilled illustrator. He created his own identification keys for certain groups of beetles. For many years, he collected a wide variety of butterfly species, which he mounted in special frames lined with cellulose wadding. At the exhibition, you will see examples of his handwritten notebooks, collection boxes and frames containing butterflies. The exhibition is complemented by information about his life, and you can also take a look inside the study of this entomologist and illustrator.
