DESCRIPTION:<p>Exotic beetles, spiders, colourful butterflies, centipedes, praying mant
 ises, enchanting ‘living’ leaves – these insects have won the hearts of vis
 itors to the exhibition halls during previous editions of the International
  Insect Exchange Days and Entomological Fair. This event has been organised
  by the Horoslez Museum in Bytom twice a year since 2025. The next opportun
 ity to come ‘face to face’ with a live praying mantis will be on 31 October
  this year.</p><p>Preparations are underway for an exceptional event: the 4
 th International Insect Exchange Day and Entomological Fair at the Horoslez
 ské Museum in Bytom. Following the success of the fairs in 2025 and Februar
 y 2026, we are once again inviting everyone – from insect enthusiasts to cu
 rious newcomers. A visit to the museum on Saturday 31 October will be a uni
 que opportunity to admire the diversity of insects from around the world – 
 from colourful butterflies, through exotic beetles and giant spiders, to fa
 scinating live specimens!</p><p>It is also an opportunity to purchase uniqu
 e exhibits and materials:</p><ul><li>collectible insects,</li><li>entomolog
 ical equipment (preparation supplies and other tools),</li><li>entomologica
 l literature (books, guides and atlases).</li></ul><p>What’s more, the fair
  is a real treat for our youngest visitors. As you stroll through the exhib
 ition halls, you’ll be able to see live insects – observe them up close, le
 arn about their habits and fascinating behaviour. The event offers the chan
 ce to expand your knowledge, exchange experiences with experts and meet ent
 omology enthusiasts from both the Czech Republic and abroad.</p><p>Who is t
 his event aimed at?</p><p>Everyone! You don’t need to be an expert to take 
 part. If you’re even slightly interested in the natural world, this is the 
 perfect opportunity to:</p><ul><li>spend time in an inspiring place,</li><l
